Teejay, born Timoy Janeyo Jones, is a Jamaican dancehall artist from Montego Bay known for his melodic delivery, street-driven storytelling, and confident “Uptop Boss” persona. He built his name with records like “Uptop Boss” and “From Rags to Riches,” then reached a wider international audience with the viral 2023 hit “Drift.” His sound blends modern dancehall with touches of Afrobeats and trap, giving his music both a raw Jamaican edge and global appeal. With his debut EP I Am Chippy, released through Warner Records and co-executive produced by Shaggy, Teejay continues to stand as one of the leading voices in the new generation of dancehall.
